I'm excited to be heading up this Learning 2.0 program for the Evanston Public Library. In addition to helping my colleagues learn about new technologies, I know that I am going to learn a lot. It's nice to get time to "play" at work (though, believe me, I understand that finding the time is the main challenge!).
I've recently been playing around with the library's new video cameras and reading up about how other libraries are using video to promote their services. I really don't have much personal experience with video and I have a huge amount of respect for people who do. It's hard!
For Summer Reading Game in the Loft this year, teens can submit video or photo reviews. We haven't gotten many submissions yet, but the ones we've gotten have been great! I really hope that we can continue to offer this kind of contest in the future.
